Mighty Party has a wide variety of resources you can spend to obtain useful items and effects withing the game. This article will introduce and discuss them.

Ancient Coin Ancient Coins Edit

What are they good for?
These are used to make purchases at the Journey Shop found within Journey (where the Blimp is).
Where do you get them?
Primarily you get them by defeating heroes located in the Journey area of the game. They can sometimes also be awarded as a prize for winning a Brawl (like pretty much all the resources within the game).

Contribution Contribution Edit

This is only obtainable and useful once you join a Guild. And it is VERY useful.
What is it good for?
These are used to activate for a week, a given Guild Bonus that Guild has unlocked. Bonuses can increase of the power or defense of Melee, Ranged, Nature, Chaos, Order Heroes. It can also give them extra powers such as spikes, regeneration, and more. They are very powerful.
Where do you get it?
You get it by participating in Turf Wars IF your Guild holds tiles after the final clash of the day. The amount of Contribution you earn is determined by three factors.
1) Your Guild has to own one or more tiles at the end of the final Clash of the day (the last Clash of the week awards double). The more tiles the Guild holds, the more Contribution (and other winnings) that goes into the 'pot' to be divided among the people that participated in the War.
2) The lower the Tier (Tier 1 being the best), the higher the rewards. Each tile gives substantially more in rewards as your Guild progresses through the Tiers.
3) The more power you spend (the Troop Strength applied including the Elixir boost) as compared to the rest of your Guild Members, the more Contribution you earn compared to the rest of the Guild members.

Dark Coin Dark Coins Edit

What are they good for?
These are used to make purchases in the Dark Shop located within the Dark Tower (do we really need to say that's under the picture of the Dark Tower?)
Where do you get them?
Primarily you get them by winning the battles in the Dark Tower area of the game. They can sometimes also be awarded as a prize for winning a Brawl (like pretty much all the resources within the game - as mentioned above). They are also sometimes available in the Shop as part of a package.

Elixir Elixir Edit

Also sometimes referred to as Boost (Gold Dust is also sometimes referred to as Boost which can make things confusing). It is worthless to you until you join a guild that participates in Turf Wars (that’s where guilds battle each other to earn cards and other good stuff). Then … you will likely never have enough of it.
What is it good for?
It gives an increase of 30% to your personal strength on that tile each time you use it. While you can use it more than once on a tile, the cost goes up ... quickly. The first use is just 10 elixir but that doubles with each click (10, 20, 40, etc).
Where do you get it?
You can buy it in the Shop. It is often available in the Dark Shop and the Journey Shop. You also get it as a bonus when you buy gems. Or when you or your fellow guild mates buy gems. Lastly you will occasionally win a little from chests from Brawls.

Event Resource Edit

ER 8ER 6Er 7ER 5

Periodically Mighty Party runs events where you can win a currency that is unique to that event. Their image can resemble eggs, coins, and other things that relate to the holiday or topic the event is themed upon.
What are they good for?
While this can vary depending on the event, typically they are used to purchase/open chests that offer Hero Souls (the things you win to get new heroes or level up existing heroes) that can only be obtained (at least at first) by participating in that event. Sometimes the chests award other prizes such as more of the event currency. The more expensive chests offer prizes of increasing rarity. Also usually there is a prize for gaining and spending a certain amount of the event resource.
Where do you get them?
As you might expect, you win it by participating in events and accomplishing the various challenges in it. As with most other game resources, you can occasionally win them in Brawls as well.

Friend Coin Friend Coins Edit

What are they good for?
You spend them to select a daily gift to give to all your friends. One purchase max a day but that purchase goes to everyone. The gifts available are normally Hero Souls, Gold, and Pal Points.
Where do you get them?
You can win them as prizes in Fights, Brawls, and Dark Tower fights. They are also sometimes available in the Shop as part of a package.

Gem Gems Edit

Gems are arguably the most important resource in the game.
What are they good for?
They are used in the Shop (the tall building with the sparkling chest in front). You can use them to buy specialized chests of Heroes/Hero Souls of all rarities up to and including legendaries. You can also spend them to obtain Elixir and/or Gold.
Where do you get them?
You can purchase them using real money (or the currency used in your gaming platform such as Kreds on Kongregate). They are also received: periodically from the Gem Mine; as one of the Daily Bonus rewards; for accomplishing various Daily Quests or Epic Quests; or as an award for completing a Path of the Hero stage. They can also be won in Guild Turf Wars.

Gold Gold Edit

What is it good for?
To upgrade your Heroes and purchase some chest packages (which gives you Hero Souls) in the Shop. In essence, you need to pay two forms of currency to upgrade your Heroes. First you need to collect sufficient souls, then you can pay gold to convert those souls into a Hero of a higher level.
Where do you get it?
You receive it periodically from the Gold Mine. You can also buy it in the shop using gems, receive it as a daily Friend gift, win it in Brawls, win it in Fights. It is sometimes offered as one of the choices in the other shops spread through the game (Dark Shop, Journey Shop, etc.). It can also be won in Turf Wars.

Gold Dust Gold Dust Edit

Sometimes also referred to as Boost (as is Elixir which can sometimes cause confusion).
What is it good for?
Gold Dust is used to give a short term (24 hour) increase in a Hero's level. You do this by clicking on a Hero then clicking on the "Boosts" tab on the right. Each use increases the Hero by one level. The cost for the next use though raises substantially each time. The cost resets when the effects of the previous use(s) wears off.
Where do you get it?
It is sometimes availlable in the main Shop as part of a package; is often available to purchase in the other shops (Dark, Journey, etc); can be received as a Brawl reward; can be won in Turf Wars; may be received as a quest reward, or can be a Twitch drop reward. Lastly you can Sacrifice Hero Souls which will burn Hero Souls in exchange for Dust. The more rare the card, the less cards need to be burned to gain dust.

Influence Influence Edit

This is only obtainable and useful once you join a Guild.
What is it good for?
Influence is the currency a Guild needs to unlock bonuses for its members and to increase the Guild Level. The bonuses are usable by the members by spending Contribution.
Where do you get it?
It is awarded by members making gem purchases (and occasionally other purchases). It can also be won in Turf Wars by holding tiles that have structures on them during the final daily Clash.

Journey Key Journey Keys Edit

What are they good for?
Journey Keys have two functions. Their most common use is to allow you to have fights in the Journey area. Winning these fights win you Ancient Coins for use in the Journey Shop, some Hero Souls of the Hero you defeated, and a few gems for the first time you defeat any Hero in the Journey area (awarded in the Quest area).
Their second potential use is only found during Events. Many events have as part of them, fights against Heroes which is one of the main ways to get those Heroes. Winning the fights gives you their Hero Souls (making them available to you) and Event Resources (see above).
Where do you get them?
You receive one Key every 6 hours up to a maximum of 5 keys (shown below the Blimp). They can also be won in Brawls and are sometimes given as a reward to those who attend Panoramik's Mighty Party Twitch broadcasts. Join Panoramik on the Discord chat program to see announcements for those and ask questions of the devs and other users.

Pal Point Pal Points Edit

What are they good for?
When your Heroes are eligible for a Soulbind bonus, you need to spend Pal Points to purchase that bonus (which is permanent).
Where do you get them?
You can receive them as Friend gifts, earn them in Brawls, purchase them in the special shops (Dark, Journey, etc).
